2 No. FIFA Spec full size Soccer Goals manufactured for Cliftonville Football Club by RC Engineering in the last few weeks, just in time for the start of the new season😀

The latest project completed by RC Engineering was

The latest project completed by RC Engineering was at the Connacht GAA Centre of Excellence. 😄

Described as the biggest indoor playing dome in the world - RC Engineering were tasked to design and manufacture 600 terraced seats that comply with DCMS guidelines to safety at sports grounds.

Each unit was required to be easily disassembled with removeable guardrails and had a design loading of 3.0 Kn/m.

The units were designed to meet the C-Values specifically required to suit the layout of the dome perimeter and pitch lines.

The beginning stages consisted of manufacturing a proto-type which was then taken to site where Connacht GAA Officials viewed and discussed any modifications that were deemed necessary.

Once the final design and structural calculations were approved, manufacturing commenced.

When manufacturing was complete all steelwork was Polyester Powder Coated to BS EN 12206:2004 and BS EN 1348:2013 and then transported to site.

To simplify both transport and assembly, each unit was manufactured in component form.

Operatives from both RC Engineering and Prunty Pitches assembled the units on site.

A massive well done to all involved, what an incredible set-up🤩👏🏼
